I believe we are all healers continuously, perhaps unknowingly, harmonizing ourselves. With our own fingers and hands we can eliminate stress, create emotional equilibrium, relieve pain and alleviate acute or chronic conditions.  

Jin Shin Jyutsu® is an ancient Japanese art that balances the body’s life energy (chi), using energy meridians to unblock organ stagnation and promote healing. In deep relaxation, issues fall away allowing us to be who we truly are; when we are uninhibited people respond to us differently. Cumulatively, this leads to deep changes.

Just over six decades ago I was born on the beautiful island of Ceylon (now Sri Lanka). As a child of Dutch nationality I was raised internationally in Asia, Europe, North America, Northern Africa and South Africa. I was constantly on the move but when, fifteen years ago, I discovered the beautiful art of Jin Shin Jyutsu® I finally felt at rest. My life changed profoundly.
I love learning and JSJ being such an endless art, provides exactly that. Through Jin Shin Jyutsu® I have had the privilege of helping  people with projects ranging from pregnancy to death achieve deep relaxation, a sense of calmness and peace, and 'miraculous' healing. I am forever grateful to have found this beautiful art which allows me to give from my heart.

I hold a business degree and a charted professional accountancy degree, both from Canada. I worked as an assistant treasurer and in other financial positions prior to raising my two children.

I volunteer at Morristown NJ’s Carol G. Simon Cancer Center offering JSJ to cancer patients. Currently, during Covid 19, sessions are offered remotely. For two weeks in June of both 2013 and 2014 as a member of Healing Hands Network, a U.K. charitable organization, I volunteered in Sarajevo, Bosnia. HHN is dedicated to providing relief to those suffering from the mental, physical and emotional after-effects of Sarajevo’s 1992-1995 siege.  I saw over 70 clients each year who received Jin Shin Jyutsu® ​ treatments and self help instruction. Although I learnt simple Bosnian, the JSJ language is universal. Their response was astounding and I gained far more than I gave. 

I have a private practice in Glen Rock, NJ and Maberly, ON.  Sessions are available by appointment.
